Code Field, Ship-to Address Table
Specifies a ship-to address code. You can enter a maximum of 10 characters, both numbers and letters.
A code representing information such as customer number and name is linked to each address. When you set up quotes, orders, invoices and credit memos, you can enter a ship-to code in the Ship-to Code field on the sales header; this will determine the ship-to address for the particular situation.
Use codes that are easy to remember and descriptive, for example, the street name.
The code must be unique - you cannot have the same code twice in one table. You can set up as many codes as you like.
