Max. Qty. Field, Bin Content Table
Indicates the maximum number of units of the item that you want to have in the bin. The program uses the maximum quantity in the put-away and bin replenishment processes to prevent bins from overflowing. The maximum quantity is always checked according to the bin capacity policy that is set up on the location card. The bin policy can be set up so that the program always checks the maximum quantity for any kind of movement into the bin. For example, the program will calculate the quantity in the bin against the maximum quantity when you register a positive adjustment for a bin.
If both a minimum quantity and a maximum quantity are specified, the bin calculation will use the maximum quantity.
