Date Filter Field, Customer Table

Specifies the date interval that values are filtered by.

If this field contains the starting and ending dates for a data interval, then other field values only show information for that interval. For example, the Net Change field shows the net change for that interval only.

You can enter a date interval according to the following rules.

Meaning Sample expression Entries that are included

Equal to

12 15 12

Only entries that are posted on December 15, 2012.

Interval

12 15 12..01 15 13

..12 15 12

Entries that are posted on dates between and including December 15, 2012, and January 15, 2013.

Entries that are posted on January 15, 2012, or earlier.

Either/or

12 15 12|12 16 12

Entries that are posted on either December 15, 2012, or December 16, 2012. If there are entries that are posted on both days, then all entries are displayed.

You can also combine the various format types.

Sample expression Entries that are included

12 15 12|12 01 12..12 10 12

Entries that are posted either on December 15, 2012, or on dates between and including December 1, 2012, and December 10, 2012.

..12 14 12|12 30 12..

Entries that are posted on December 14, 2012, or earlier, or entries that are posted on December 30, 2012, or later, which includes all entries except those that are posted on dates between and including December 15, 2012, and December 29, 2012.
