Status Field, Phys. Inventory Order Header Table

This fields shows, if the physical inventory order is still open or already finished.

If the status is Open, you can make changes to the physical inventory order. You can also enter data in the tables Phys. Invt. Recording Header and Phys. Invt. Recording Line, which are linked to the current physical inventory order. This is only possible, if the inventory recording itself is still open.

If the physical inventory order has been already finished, it cannot longer be changed. The field Qty. Expected (Base) of the physical inventory line cannot be changed any longer and it is also impossible, to add further physical inventory recording lines.

You have to finish the physical inventory order, before you can post it. Only if the physical inventory order has the status finished, it is possible, to see all information in statistics and reports completely.

Requirements for finishing the physical inventory order are, that the expected quantity has been calculated for every inventory order line and that there is at least one physical inventory recording line for every physical inventory order line with a result.

To release a physical inventory order, choose Functions, Finish, or Ctrl-F11

You can reopen the document if you want to make changes to its contents by choosing Functions, Reopen.
