Working with Dynamics CRM Data in Microsoft Dynamics NAV
Article
When your application is set up to integrate with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, you have access to Microsoft Dynamics CRM data from the Microsoft Dynamics NAV client and vice versa in some cases. Microsoft Dynamics CRM integration enables you to work with and synchronize data types that are common to both Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft Dynamics NAV, such as customers, contacts, and sales information, and keep the data up-to-date in both locations.
Microsoft Dynamics CRM entities, such as accounts, are integrated with equivalent Microsoft Dynamics NAV record types, such as customers. To work with Microsoft Dynamics CRM data, you set up couplings between Microsoft Dynamics NAV records and Microsoft Dynamics CRM entity records. For example, you set up a coupling between a specific customer in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and a corresponding account in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
The following table describes the Microsoft Dynamics CRM entities that are integrated with Microsoft Dynamics NAV record types.
