IStemmer::GetLicenseToUse method
[Indexing Service is no longer supported as of Windows XP and is unavailable for use as of Windows 8. Instead, use Windows Search for client side search and Microsoft Search Server Express for server side search.]
Retrieves the license information for this IStemmer implementation.
Syntax
HRESULT GetLicenseToUse(
[out] const WCHAR **ppwcsLicense
);
Parameters
- ppwcsLicense [out]
A pointer to a variable that receives a pointer to the license information.
Return value
This method can return one of these values.

|---|---|
| S_OK | The operation was completed successfully. |
Remarks
The Indexing Service does not enforce license restrictions. The implementation determines the storage method for the license information.
