IAMTimeline::GetDefaultEffect

The GetDefaultEffect method retrieves the default effect. If the render engine cannot render an effect, it substitutes the default effect.

Syntax

  HRESULT GetDefaultEffect(
    GUID *pGuid
);

Parameters

pGuid

Pointer to a variable that receives the globally unique identifier (GUID) of the default effect.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful, or E_POINTER otherwise.

Requirements

Header: Include Qedit.h. This header file is not compatible with Microsoft® Direct3D® headers later than version 7.

Library: Use strmiids.lib.
