IVMRWindowlessControl9::GetMaxIdealVideoSize

The GetMaxIdealVideoSize method retrieves the maximum video size that the VMR can display without incurring significant performance or image quality degradation.

Syntax

  HRESULT GetMaxIdealVideoSize(
  LONG*  lpWidth,
  LONG*  lpHeight
);

Parameters

lpWidth

[out]  Pointer that receives the maximum ideal width.

lpHeight

[out]  Pointer that receives the maximum ideal height.

Return Values

The method returns an HRESULT. Possible values include those in the following table.

Value Description
S_OK The method succeeded.
VFW_E_WRONG_STATE The VMR is not in windowless mode.
