Setting Up the Calendaring Sample Application

The Calendaring sample application is installed by default in the directory in which the Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Software Development Kit (SDK) is installed, in the \Samples\Calendaring\ folder. Before you use the Calendaring sample application, build the vbcalendaring.exe file.

Building the Calendaring Sample Application

To build the Calendaring sample application

  1. Navigate to the \Samples\Calendaring\ directory in the directory in which the Exchange Server 2007 SDK is installed and double-click the Calendaring.vbp file icon.

    This opens the CalendaringSample Microsoft Visual Basic project.

  2. From the File menu, select Make vbcalendaring.exe.

  3. In the Make Project window, click OK to build the vbcalendaring.exe file in the \Samples\Calendaring directory.

Running the Calendaring Sample Application

To run the Calendaring sample application

  • Navigate to the \Samples\Calendaring directory in the directory in which the Exchange Server 2007 SDK is installed and double-click vbcalendaring.exe.
