GetUri

The GetUri function returns the URI portion of a SIP address, such as the address found in the From or To header field of a SIP message.

Syntax

string GetUri(
  string address
);

Parameters

  • Address
    The SIP address for which the associated URI portion is returned. For example, GetUri("\"Display Name\" <sip:someone@example.com>;lr") returns "sip:someone@example.com".

Return Values

Returns the SIP URI as a string; for example, "sip:someone@example.com". Returns null if requested data is not found.
