Format Dialog Box (Border Tab) (Report Builder)
Use the Border tab of the Format dialog box to specify border options for a single cell or multiple cells within a data region.
Border Options
Specify whether you want borders around the selected cells or not. If you added borders, specify where the border lines appear around the selected cells. For example, you can display a line at the bottom of a selected cell or row of cells but not display a line at the top of the cell or row of cells.
- None
Select to remove all borders.
- Outline
Select to display a border around the selected cells.
- Border lines
Select to specify where the border lines appear around the selected cells. For example, you can display a line at the bottom of a selected cell or row of cells but not display a line at the top of the cell or row of cells.
- Top
Select to insert a line at the top of the cell or cell range.
- Bottom
Select to insert a line at the bottom of the cell or cell range.
- Left
Select to insert a line along the left side of the cell or cell range.
- Right
Select to insert a line along the right side of the cell or cell range.
Line Options
Specify how you want the border lines to appear.
- Style
Select a line style, for example, solid, dashed, double, or dotted, for the border lines. By default, Solid is selected.
- Width
Select a line width. By default, 1 is selected
- Color
Select a color for border lines.
