ApplicationException | When the Log Reader Agent job already exists. When the replication database does not exist or has not been enabled for transactional publishing. When the Log Reader Agent has not been upgraded to the Microsoft SQL Server 2005 replication agent security model. For more information, see Security Considerations for Replication. |
Remarks
The CreateLogReaderAgent method can be called by members of the sysadmin fixed server role and by members of the db_owner fixed database role.
Calling CreateLogReaderAgent is equivalent to executing sp_addlogreader_agent (Transact-SQL).
The CreateLogReaderAgent method is available with SQL Server 2005 only.
This namespace, class, or member is supported only in version 2.0 of the .NET Framework.
