Initial Installation (Analysis Services)
SQL Server Analysis Services is installed through the SQL Server Setup program. You can install Analysis Services alongside other SQL Server components or you can install Analysis Services as a stand-alone component. You can also install an instance of Analysis Services to a SharePoint farm, for support of multidimensional data sets that were created by using PowerPivot for Excel.
