Gets or sets whether the Publisher is a non-SQL Server Publisher.

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean
A Boolean value. If true, the Publisher is a non-SQL Server Publisher. If false, Publisher is an instance of SQL Server.

Remarks

The ThirdParty property cannot be changed for an existing Publisher.

The ThirdParty property can only be retrieved by members of the sysadmin fixed server role at the Distributor.

The ThirdParty property can only be set by members of the sysadmin fixed server role at the Distributor.

Retrieving the ThirdParty property is equivalent to executing sp_helpdistpublisher.

Setting the ThirdParty property is equivalent to executing sp_adddistpublisher.

The ThirdParty property is available with SQL Server 7.0, SQL Server 2000, and SQL Server 2005.

This namespace, class, or member is supported only in version 2.0 of the .NET Framework.
