Trace Event Groups for Use with Event Notifications

The following illustration lists the SQL Trace event groups that can be used to run an event notification and the Transact-SQL statements they cover. Note the inclusive nature of the event groups, as indicated by the tree structure of the diagrams. For example, an event notification that specifies FOR TRC_LOCKS covers the LOCK_DEADLOCK, LOCK_DEADLOCK_CHAIN, LOCK_ESCALATION, and DEADLOCK_GRAPH events.

These groups can be run only at the server instance level.
