IProgram::DependentProgId Property

IProgram::DependentProgId is a read-only property, in Configuration Manager, that indicates the ID of the program to which the current program depends.

HRESULT DependentProgId([out, retval] BSTR* pVal);

Parameters

  • pVal
    Data type: BSTR

    Qualifiers: [out, retval]

    Pointer to the ID of the current program's dependent program.

Return Values

An HRESULT code. Possible values include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • S_OK
    The method succeeded.

Remarks

Use this property, along with DependentPackageId, to determine the program to which the current program depends.
