Folder Element

In Configuration Manager 2007, the Folder element describes discovery information for a folder object, representing a discoverable folder or a set of folders from the file system on target computers.

Attributes

Name Type Description

LogicalName

tns:LogicalName

The unique Id of the folder part of the configuration item.

ValidatePermissions

xs:Boolean

Indicates whether SDDL rules are expressed for this folder part.

Depth

tns:SearchDepthType

Controls the depth of discovery for a File System lookup. Options include:

Base = Root container

OneLevel = One container below the root.

Subtree = Recursive search from the root container down.

Is64Bit

xs:Boolean

Indicates whether the folder part is installed on 64-bit operating systems only.
