ICacheInfo::DeleteCacheElement Method

The ICacheInfo::DeleteCacheElement method deletes a specific cache element from the cache, in Configuration Manager.

HRESULT DeleteCacheElement(
      BSTR sCacheElementId
);

Parameters

  • sCacheElementId
    Data type: BSTR

    Qualifiers: [in]

    ID of the cache element to delete.

Return Values

An HRESULT code. Possible values include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • S_OK
    The method succeeded.

Remarks

This method requires at least local administrator credentials.
