Create a COM+ Application Cluster
A COM+ application cluster primarily handles the processing of COM+ components. When Web or Windows-based applications activate COM+ components, these activation requests can be load balanced across the multiple members within a COM+ application cluster. To perform the load balancing, you must configure CLB on the Web or COM+ routing cluster.
To create a COM+ application cluster
On the Cluster Type page, click COM+ application cluster, and then click Next.
On the COM+ Application Clients page, select the clients that will be activating components on this COM+ application cluster, and then click Next.
To receive notification of cluster events, on the Monitoring Options page, enter an e-mail address and e-mail server name, and then click Next.
Click Finish.
