Configure Default Mailbox Quotas
You use the Exchange Management Console to configure default storage quotas for the Windows EBS mailbox database. Use the following procedure to open the Exchange Management Console on the Messaging Server.

- Exchange Server Help: On the Windows EBS Messaging Server, in the Exchange Management Console, press F1.
Note
You must use an account that is in the Domain Admins group to perform this procedure.
To access settings for storage quotas in the Exchange Management Console
Click Start, click All Programs, click Windows Essential Business Server, and then click Windows Essential Business Server Administration Console.
Click the Computers and Devices tab.
Click the server that you named as the Messaging Server, and then in the tasks pane, click Exchange Management Console. The Exchange Management Console opens.
In the Exchange Management Console, expand Server Configuration, and then click Mailbox.
In the list view, click your Messaging Server name.
On the Database Management tab, expand First Storage Group, and then click Mailbox Database. In the Actions pane, click Properties.
In the Mailbox Database Properties dialog box, click the Limits tab.
Review or make changes to the Storage limits settings, and then click OK.
