Reset a User Account Password
To reset the password for a user account, use the Reset User Account Password dialog box.
Important
You should reset the password for a user account only if the user has forgotten the password. When you reset the password, the user will lose access to all EFS-encrypted files, personal certificates, and stored passwords for Web sites and network resources.
Your password choice should follow Windows Server 2008 recommendations for creating a strong password. A strong password has a length of at least eight characters and contains a combination of uppercase characters, lowercase characters, numerals, and special characters.
For more information about password security in Windows Essential Business Server, see the Microsoft Web site (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=108910).

You must use an account that is in the Domain Admins group to perform this procedure.
