How to: Stop an In-Progress Build
When you queue a new build, the Queued tab of Build Explorer opens automatically. For more information, see How to: Queue or Start a Build Definition.
Required Permissions
To complete this task, you must have Administer a build permission set to Allow. For more information, see Team Foundation Server Permissions.
Stopping a Build
As long as the build definition has an In Progress or a Postponed icon next to it, you can stop the in-progress build from the Queued tab of Build Explorer.
To stop a currently running build
Right-click an in-progress build definition name in the Queued tab of Build Explorer, and then click Stop on the drop-down menu.
Alternately, you can click the Stop icon in the tool bar of the Queued tab of Build Explorer.
Click Yes on the Stop selected builds? message.
A Stopped icon appears next to the build definition name in the Queued tab of Build Explorer.
