Overview of the Settings and Constraints Editor
The Settings and Constraints Editor is a key component of Distributed System Designers. Using this editor, you can accomplish the following tasks:
Configure settings on applications, endpoints, logical servers, and zones. For more information, see Applying Settings.
Specify constraints from the application layer to the application hosting layer and vice versa. For more information, see Constraining Application and Application Hosting Relationships.
Import settings from existing IIS Web servers. For more information, see Importing Settings.
Create custom settings. For more information, see How to: Create Custom Settings for Applications, Servers, Endpoints, and Zones.
Override application settings within application systems. For more information, see How to: Specify Application Settings as Overridable.
Add or remove resources. For more information, see Adding Resources.
