Setting Up the Controller and Agent Functionality
You set up your controller and agents by using the installation file located on the Microsoft Visual Studio Team System Test Load Agent installation disk. The file is named setup.exe and is located at the root of the CD.
Note
The controller and agent functionality is only available in the Visual Studio Team System 2008 Test Load Agent product, not in Visual Studio Team System. You can purchase Visual Studio Team System Test Load Agent where you purchased Visual Studio Team System.
Some important notes about installation are as follows:
You cannot install a test controller on a domain controller.
You must install the controller before you install any agents.
You must be a member of the local Administrators group to perform the installation.
