How to: Toggle Live Evaluation in the Memory Window

The Memory window is available only if address-level debugging is enabled the Options dialog box, Debugging node.
If you do not want the contents of the Memory window to change as your program executes, you can turn off live expression evaluation.
Note
The dialog boxes and menu commands you see might differ from those described in Help depending on your active settings or edition. To change your settings, choose Import and Export Settings on the Tools menu. For more information, see Visual Studio Settings.
To toggle live evaluation on or off
Right-click the Memory window.
On the shortcut menu, click Reevaluate Automatically.
If live evaluation is on, the option will be selected, and clicking it turns live evaluation off. If live evaluation is off, the option is not selected, and clicking it turns live evaluation on.
