IVsHierarchyItem.AreChildrenRealized Property

Indicates whether the child items of an IVsHierarchyItem have already been enumerated.

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the child items have already been enumerated, otherwise false.

Remarks

This property can be used to determine if the enumeration of the child items of the hierarchy item has not already occurred and therefore will incur the cost of accessing the IVsHierarchy, or whether the Children property will return an already-populated collection.
