Parameters

• Item
  Type: Object

  Required. The item.

• event
  Type: Microsoft.VisualStudio.VCProjectEngine.enumSccEvent

  Required. The event. An enumSccEvent value.

Return Value

Type: Boolean
true if changes can be made; otherwise, false.

Remarks

The SccEvent method can be used to catch, allow changing of project file settings, or disallow changing of project file settings. It can also be used when integrating your own source code system into Visual Studio.
