Parameters

• providerType
  Type: Type

  The type implementing the IVsSearchProvider extension.

• name
  Type: String

  A short, non-localized human-readable name of the provider.

Remarks

Specifies that the package implements an IVsSearchProviderFactory interface (that is, by deriving from ExtensionPointPackage) and declares the type implementing the search provider.
