Advertising in apps for Windows Phone 8

You can monetize your Windows Phone apps and games by including ads. Your app can display ads from a number of ad networks, including Microsoft Advertising.
Note
For Windows Phone OS 8.0 and higher, you can use ad mediation to help maximize your ad revenue. For more info, see Using ad mediation to maximize ad revenue.
The Microsoft Advertising SDK for Windows Phone is installed as part of Windows Phone OS 7.1 or higher. You can monetize your Windows Phone apps and games by including ads from Microsoft Advertising. The Microsoft Advertising SDK for Windows Phone enables you to create apps that can do the following:
Easily integrate text and banner ads into your apps and games.
Provide a monetization solution that maximizes in-app advertising revenues by unlocking the power of multiple sales channels competing in real time to purchase your ad inventory.
