Installing DSML Services for Windows

The following procedure shows how to install DSML Services for Windows.

To install the DSML Services for Windows files

  1. Download the DSML Services for Windows files to a temporary directory on the IIS server system.

    Note

    The installer package is available from the Microsoft download center (https://www.microsoft.com/downloads).

     

  2. Run the DSfW.msi installer. This starts the DSML Services for Windows Setup Wizard. On the first page of the wizard, click Next.

  3. Read the license agreement, click I Agree, and then click Next.

  4. The default install folder is C:\DSFW\.

    You can install DSML Services for Windows for the current user, but it is recommended that you install it for all users on the computer. To do this, select Everyone, and then click Next.

  5. Click Next on the Confirm Installation page to begin installing the DSML Services for Windows files.

  6. Read the Congratulations! page, and then click Next.

  7. The Installation Complete page will display when the setup is complete. Click Close to exit the Setup Wizard.
