ITransactionResourceAsync::AbortRequest

The DTC proxy calls this method to abort a transaction.
Syntax
HRESULT AbortRequest( BOID * pboidReason, BOOL fRetaining, XACTUOW * pNewUOW);
Parameters
pboidReason
[in] Unspecified and should be ignored.
fRetaining
[in] Always will be FALSE.
pNewUOW
[in] Always will be NULL.
Return Values
This method returns the standard values E_INVALIDARG, E_OUTOFMEMORY, E_UNEXPECTED, and E_FAIL, as well as the following:
S_OK
Success: the resource manager's transaction object has started aborting.
Remarks
The resource manager needs to return from this call as soon as it has asynchronously started a request to abort its enlistment object. After the enlistment object is aborted, the resource manager needs to call ITransactionEnlistmentAsync::AbortRequestDone.
Note that the pboidReason parameter is unspecified and should be ignored.
