IFeedItem::Author Property

Retrieves the author from the feed item.

Syntax

HRESULT IFeedItem::get_Author(BSTR *author);

Parameters

  • author
    Pointer to a variable of type BSTR that receives the author of the feed item.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error value otherwise.

Remarks

Author is an optional feed item element. The property value is NULL if not specified in the source.

The calling process is responsible for freeing the memory with SysFreeString.
