Sharing Ink Between Applications
Store your ink in Ink Serialized Format (ISF) or Fortified Graphics Interchange Format (GIF) inside your normal document or within a document format that is readable by other applications. For instance, the 2007 Microsoft Office system will offer an XML file format. This will permit your application to create an XML file that contains your ink, and that can be loaded into any 2007 Microsoft Office application.
Interoperability with Windows Journal
The JournalReader class provided in Windows Vista allows an application to load ink from a file saved in Windows Journal. This class does not, however, support saving data to a Journal file format.
