Maintaining Route Tables for IPv6 (Windows CE 5.0)
Routing**is a primary function of IPv6. Datagrams labeled with a source and destination IP address are handed to IP. IP examines the destination address on each datagram, compares it to a locally maintained route table, and decides what action to take.
