Windows Cannot Check the License For a Computer

Resolution

  • This indicates an incorrectly set partition size. The partition size specified by the property settings in Target Designer must be close to the actual size that is required for the destination partition.

    Try the following steps:

    1. In Target Designer, open your .slx file.
    2. In the Configuration Editor Pane, expand the .slx file and then choose Settings.
    3. On the Windows XP Embedded Client tab in the Details Pane, under Target Device Settings, choose Show.
      The Target Device Settings appear.
    4. Verify that the boot partition size field is correct.
