This sample code function computes a checksum for a given range of memory.

Syntax

DWORD SnapChkSum(
    LPCVOID pData,
    DWORD cbData );

Parameters

  • pData
    Starting address of the buffer.
  • cbData
    Size of the buffer in bytes.

Return Value

The checksum value.
