IXRStrokeCollection (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

1/6/2010

This class represents a collection of IXRStroke objects.

Syntax

class IXRStrokeCollection : public IXRCollection<IXRStroke*, IXRDependencyObject*>

Methods

Method Description

IXRStrokeCollection::GetBounds

Returns the bounds of the strokes in this collection.

IXRStrokeCollection::HitTest

Indicates whether a specified IXRStylusPointCollection object intersects with an IXRStrokeCollection object.

IXRStrokeCollection inherits the methods from the template class IXRCollection<In_T, Out_T>. It uses In_T parameters of type IXRStroke*, and uses Out_T parameters of type IXRDependencyObject*.

Remarks

To enable a user to draw on-screen, for example by using a stylus, you must create an IXRInkPresenter object and position it on the graphical window. Ink refers to handwriting or drawing content that was input by using a stylus, a mouse, or by touch. This IXRInkPresenter object captures ink input in IXRStoke objects. These objects are stored in IXRStokeCollection.

You can obtain a pointer to this collection by calling IXRInkPresenter::GetStrokes. Then, you can use the methods inherited from IXRCollection<In_T, Out_T> to add items, remove items, or retrieve items. You can also clear the complete collection by calling IXRCollection<In_T, Out_T>::Clear.

You can define a stroke collection in Microsoft Silverlight 2 XAML. For information on the differences between XAML in Silverlight for Windows Embedded and Silverlight 2, see Differences Between Silverlight for the Web and Silverlight for Windows Embedded. For more information about how to define this collection in the source XAML for your application, see this Microsoft Web site.
