IXRDiscreteObjectKeyFrame (Compact 2013)
3/28/2014
This class uses discrete values to animate from the IXRDependencyObject target value of the previous key frame to its own target value.
Syntax
lass IXRDiscreteObjectKeyFrame : public IXRObjectKeyFrame
Inheritance Hierarchy
IXRDiscreteObjectKeyFrame
Methods
This class defines no new methods. It inherits its methods from IXRObjectKeyFrame.
Thread Safety
Members of this class are thread-safe if you previously called IXRApplication::CreateHostFromXaml and supplied it with an XRWindowCreateParams structure that has AllowsMultipleThreadAccess set to true.
Remarks
This class animates an IXRDependencyObject-derived object along a set of key frames using an IXRObjectKeyFrameCollection together with an IXRObjectAnimationUsingKeyFrames animation.
A key frame defines a segment of the IXRObjectAnimationUsingKeyFrames object that it belongs to. Each key frame has a target value, set by the inherited method IXRObjectKeyFrame::SetValue, and a key-time, set by the inherited method IXRObjectKeyFrame::SetKeyTime. The key-time specifies the time at which the target value of this key frame should be reached. A key frame animates from the target value of the previous key frame to its own target value. It starts when the previous key frame ends, and it ends when its own key time is reached.
Discrete key frames such as IXRDiscreteObjectKeyFrame do not interpolate between values, instead jumping suddenly to the new target value when the key-time is reached.
When you create a class instance, use an IXRDiscreteObjectKeyFramePtr smart pointer instead of a raw interface pointer. For more information, see XRPtr<Interface>.
You can also define a discrete double key-frame in Microsoft Silverlight 3 XAML.
