Building the Image for a Multilingual Platform

After you have created the configuration for your multilingual platform, you must build your image.

To build the image for your multilingual platform

From the Build menu, choose Build Platform.

The build process will take several minutes to complete.
After the building process has completed, from the Build menu, choose Open Build Release Directory.
At the command prompt, type createmui 0409, and then press Enter.

This will copy all the localized resources for locale 0409 to the flat release directory and create a multiui.bib file, which contains a list of all these resources, in the same directory.
In Windows Explorer navigate to the %_WINCEROOT%\Public\<Name of your platform>\RelDir\Emulator_X86Release directory and locate the multiui.bib file.
Open multiui.bib using Notepad.
In Notepad, from the Edit menu, choose Select All, and then choose Copy.
In Windows Explorer navigate to the %_WINCEROOT%\Public\<Name of your platform>\RelDir\Emulator_X86Release directory and locate the common.bib file.
Navigate to the end of the common.bib file.
From the Edit menu, choose Paste to copy the contents of multiui.bib to the end of common.bib.
From the File menu, choose Save to save common.bib.
From the Build menu, choose Open Build Release Directory.
At the command prompt, type makeimg, and then press Enter.

The build process will take several minutes. After the Done! statement appears on the command line, the build process is complete.
