IVoIPCallerInfoDB::CreateRecord

This method creates a new record associated with this database.

HRESULT CreateRecord( 
  IVoIPCallerInfoRecord** ppiRecord 
);

Parameters

  • ppiRecord
    [out] Pointer to the IVoIPCallerInfoRecord interface for the new information record. All the fields in the record are set to default empty or invalid values.

    If the method succeeds, an object is created. The caller must free this object by using Release when the object is no longer being used.

Return Values

The following table shows the possible return value.

Value Description
VOIP_E_NOTINITIALIZED The database is not initialized.IVoIPCallerInfoDB::Init must be called before this method can complete successfully.

Remarks

The record created is not immediately placed in the database, rather it is associated with the database. To add the record to the database, the application must call the IVoIPCallerInfoRecord::Commit method.
