This method asynchronously opens the clip with the specified name.

Parameters

  • sTitleName
    [in] String value representing the name of the clip to open, including its protocol, path, or HTTP URL.

Return Values

None.

Remarks

This method performs the same function as setting the FileName property, but it works asynchronously, allowing the calling application to continue performing tasks while the clip is being opened. Use the Cancel method to abort the Open method before the file is completely loaded.

Requirements

OS Versions: Windows CE 3.0 and later.
