LostPackets

This property contains a value specifying the number of packets lost during transmission of the stream.

Parameters

  • lPackets
    Long value specifying the number of packets lost during transmission of the stream. This property is read-only with no default value.

Remarks

This property is valid only for streaming media. Packets may be lost for a number of reasons, such as the type and quality of the network connection.

Each time playback stops and restarts, this property resets to zero. It does not reset if playback pauses and restarts. This property returns valid information only during run time, and only if the FileName property is set.

OS Versions: Windows CE 3.0 and later.
