This function returns a pointer to a credential structure specified by the target string.

Parameters

  • pszTarget
    [in] Reserved. Should be NULL.

  • dwCredType
    [in] One of the following credential types:

    • CRED_TYPE_GENERIC
    • CRED_TYPE_DOMAIN_PASSWORD
    • CRED_TYPE_DOMAIN_CERTIFICATE
    • CRED_TYPE_DOMAIN_VISIBLE_PASSWORD

    Access to NTLM and Kerberos credentials is available only through the Credential Manager. Those credential types are therefore not defined.

  • dwFlags
    [in] Reserved. Should be NULL.

  • pCred
    [out] Pointer to the credential structure.

None.
