IMediaPosition::get_Rate

This method retrieves the rate of playback relative to normal playback speed.

HRESULT get_Rate(
  double* pdRate
);

Parameters

  • pdRate
    [out] Returned rate.

Return Values

Returns an HRESULT value.

Remarks

A rate of 1.0 indicates normal playback speed. A rate of 0.5 indicates half speed. A rate of –1.0 indicates normal speed in reverse.

Requirements

DirectShow applications and DirectShow filters have different include file and link library requirements. See Setting Up the Build Environment for more information.

OS Versions: Windows CE 2.12 and later. Version 2.12 requires DXPAK 1.0 or later.
