MSI-based Installer Modification (Windows CE 5.0)

A self-installing .msi file contains the information necessary to install the SDK.

An .msi file is a single package containing the files to be installed and includes accompanying registry information, dependency data, instructions for installation, and so on.

To change an .msi file, use the tools for the Windows Installer after the SDK is generated. For more information about modifying an .msi file, see the SDK documentation for the Windows Installer.
