Kernel Connectivity Interfaces
The following table shows a list of interfaces that relate to kernel-level connectivity. Each download service and kernel transport implements the IPMService interface.

| IPMBootableDevice | Provides the ability to access and change a specified named connection. A named connection object stores download service settings, kernel transport settings, and other settings. |
| IPMService | Provides the ability to access and change a specified service object. |
| IPMServiceCategory | Provides the ability to access and change a specified service category object. |
| IPMServiceInfo | Provides the ability to access and change a specified service information object. |
| IPMStartupServerInfo | Provides the ability to access and change a specified startup server object. |
| IPMTransportInfo | Provides the ability to access and change a specified transport object. |
