Windows Media Player Control Registry Settings (Windows CE 5.0)
The registry stores information necessary to configure the system for applications and hardware devices. The registry also contains information that the operating system continually references during operation.
The registry subkey HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Control controls the behavior of the Windows Media Player control. The following table describes the named values for this subkey.
Note The default registry values vary depending on which Catalog items are included in your OS design. For more information, see Default Registry Settings.
Value : type | Description |
---|---|
URLFlipping : REG_DWORD | Default setting is 1.
This registry key is the fundamental method of controlling URL flipping support in an OS design. Set this value to 0 to disable URL flipping, or set it to 1 to enable URL flipping. If flipping is disabled through this registry setting then there is no way to enable flipping by any other means. Specifically, changes made to the Windows Media Player control's InvokeURLs property will have no effect. However, if flipping is enabled through this registry setting then the InvokeURL property of the Windows Media Player control can be used to change the player's flipping behavior.
