Enabling an OS Image Size Larger Than 32 MB

If you have created an OS image that is larger than 32 megabytes (MB), you must modify the platform settings to configure the amount of RAM allocated before you can successfully build, download, and run your OS image on a target device.

To enable an OS image size larger than 32 MB

  1. From the Platform menu, choose Settings.

  2. From the Platform Settings dialog box, choose the Build Options tab, and then select the Enable Images Larger Than 32MB check box.

This check box corresponds to the environment variable IMGRAM64.

  3. To close the Platform Settings dialog box and save your changes, choose OK.
