IVoIPCurrentCall::FriendlyName

This method gets the friendly name associated with the URI of the caller in the caller information database.

HRESULT get_FriendlyName( 
  BSTR* pbstrFriendlyName 
); 

Parameters

  • pbstrFriendlyName
    [out] Pointer to a BSTR that will be filled with the friendly name associated with the URI in the caller information database, or an empty string if there is no entry. The method allocates the buffer. The application releases the memory by using the SysFreeString function.

Return Values

If the HRESULT value passed to the SUCCEEDED macro returns TRUE, the method succeeded. Otherwise, the method failed.
