NDIS_STATUS_DOT11_WFD_RECEIVED_GO_NEGOTIATION_RESPONSE
Important The Native 802.11 Wireless LAN interface is deprecated in Windows 10 and later. Please use the WLAN Device Driver Interface (WDI) instead. For more information about WDI, see WLAN Universal Windows driver model.
The status of the reception of a Group Owner (GO) negotiation response from a peer Wi-Fi Direct (WFD) device is reported with an NDIS_STATUS_DOT11_WFD_RECEIVED_GO_NEGOTIATION_RESPONSE indication.
The data type for this indication is the DOT11_RECEIVED_GO_NEGOTIATION_RESPONSE_PARAMETERS structure.
The miniport driver calls NdisMIndicateStatusEx to make an NDIS_STATUS_DOT11_WFD_RECEIVED_GO_NEGOTIATION_RESPONSE indication, and must pass a pointer to an NDIS_STATUS_INDICATION structure through the StatusIndication parameter. When making this indication, the miniport driver must set the following members of the NDIS_STATUS_INDICATION structure:
StatusCode must be set to NDIS_STATUS_DOT11_WFD_RECEIVED_GO_NEGOTIATION_RESPONSE.
StatusBuffer must be set to the address of a DOT11_RECEIVED_GO_NEGOTIATION_RESPONSE_PARAMETERS structure.
StatusBufferSize must be set to the total of both the size of DOT11_RECEIVED_GO_NEGOTIATION_RESPONSE_PARAMETERS and the size of the list of returned Information Elements (IEs).
After receiving the status indication, the system will determine the appropriate reply for the GO negotiation reply. The system may then send OID_DOT11_WFD_SEND_GO_NEGOTIATION_CONFIRMATION OID to the driver for creation and transmission of the GO negotiation confirmation.
